Student Algebra Seminar: Baine -- The Thom isomorphism

Title: The Thom isomorphism

Abstract: In this talk we will introduce the Thom space associated to a vector bundle, 
explain the Thom isomorphism, and (time permitting) introduce the Gysin sequence.
