Conformal Geometry, representation theory and de Rham cohomology
Friday 29th June, 12-1pm,
Carslaw 159.
Tools from representation theory can be used to predict the existence
of conformally invariant elliptic differential operators with kernel
closely linked to the de Rham cohomology of the manifold. I will
discuss this new result and recent progress we have made in the
construction of these operators. (This is collaborative work with
Tom Branson from University of Iowa.)
