The representation type of cyclotomic q-Schur algebras

In this talk, I give a necessary and sufficient condition on parameters for cyclotomic q-Schur algebras to be of finite representation type. In order to prove it, we use some structures of cyclotomic q-Schur algebras obtained in my previous work with T. Shoji. Thanks to these structures, we should consider only special cases to prove infiniteness. On the other hand, in o rder to prove finiteness, we show that each block of cyclotomic q-Schur algebra which satisfies given conditions is Morita equivalent to an algebra which is of finite representation type.
