Adding the zero vector

Adding the zero vector 0 to any vector v gives the vector v again. That is,

0 + v = v + 0 =  v

for all vectors v. For if v = ---> AB, then

        --->    --->     ---> 0 + v = AA  + AB  =  AB  = v

and

         --->    ---->    - --> v + 0 =  AB  + BB  = AB   = v.
