Abstract

In this talk we discuss the recent development of Clifford-Fourier transforms (CFT) and potential applications to the treatment of multichannel signals. The CFT has attractive covariance properties that are not available through ad hoc constructions. Well discuss the role of the CFT in the analysis of the continuous wavelet transform, translation-invariance, the construction of multiresolution analyses, Hardy spaces and the Paley-Wiener theorem for multichannel signals.
