Daniele Celoria is speaking in the Algebra Seminar this week. We will go out for lunch after the talk. When: Friday 19 May, 12-1pm Where: Carslaw 173 Title: Uberhomology of simplicial complexes Abstract: We introduce uberhomology, a combinatorially defined homology theory for simplicial complexes. After proving some of its properties, we’ll show how a specialisation is related to connected domination in graphs. We’ll conclude by proving that a part of these groups can be described it in terms of the Mayer-Vietoris spectral sequence. This is partly a joint work with C.Caputi and C.Collari.
