Venue: The Quadrangle Refectory Room H113, the University of Sydney, NSW 2006.  

Direction: The Refectory Room H113 is a room downstairs in the Quadrangle building (same
corner as Maclaurin Hall, but downstairs instead of upstairs).  It is *not* the
Refectory Building on Parramatta Rd (next to/part of the Holme Building).  

Title: Data driven marketing (segmentation, audience management, measurement &
attribution) 

Abstract: Whether for acquisition, re-engagement or amplification of your
brand - data driven marketing provides the best possible operational efficiency for your
media spend.  I will outline the thought leadership stories, key strategies, process
improvements and small trials that will help you get the hard numbers.  

Biography of Scott Thomson:
Scott is a combination digital strategy consultant, digital marketer, CTO,
technology strategist/evangelist and developer/amateur hack.  He works for Google in
customer solutions and innovation in the data platforms group across APAC.  Prior to
this, he worked with Adobe assisting C-level executives across APAC with digital
strategy and digital transformation.  Scott previously held the role of CTO for Qmecom,
an Australian startup focused on personalised video advertising for mobiles, and has
worked for major organisations, including Telstra and Sensis, delivering digital
marketing and digital products.  Plus, he paid his way through university working in a
morgue!!
