Title:(Categorified) Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials for affine A2 Speaker: Nicolas Libedinsky (University of Chile) Date and Time: 11:05-11:55am, Friday 7th February Location: Quad S227 Abstract: I will first explain the Hecke algebra (with its Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials) and its categorical counterpart: the Hecke category. Then I will explain some recent results, in joint work with Leonardo Patimo. We calculate for affine A2 the Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials, which is surprisingly beautiful. We also categorify this result in the Hecke category. The seminar will be followed by lunch with the speaker. If you would like to join the lunch, please email anthony.henderson@sydney.edu.au before the day of the seminar.
