On the L_p dual Minkowski problem
Taehun Lee
Dear friends and colleagues,
on Monday, 17 October 2022 at • 12:00 PM for Beijing, Hong Kong and Perth • 01:00 PM for Seoul and Tokyo • 03:00 PM for Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney • 05:00 PM for Auckland
A cornerstone of the Brunn--Minkowski theory is the Minkowski problem initiated by Minkowski himself over a century ago. This problem characterizes measures generated by convex bodies, and has been generalized to the $L_p$ dual Minkowski problem which incorporates the Alexandrov problem as well as the logarithmic Minkowski problem. In this talk, we discuss about recent developments in this problem, focusing on solutions to the logarithmic Minkowski problem.
Chair: Ki-Ahm Lee (Seoul National University, South Korea)
