It is time to wrap up for the year.
The last VIG seminar was held 27 October 2023 - thanks Pieter Roffelsen for organising the 4 most recent seminars in October.
We will not have VIG seminars in November or December this year.
Check scnews for the continuation into 2024, when we plan to continue with elliptic curve cryptography.
This is the continuation of a VIG (Very Informal Group) discussion on papers and books that might be of interest to members of the School, particularly those with interests in integrable systems, dynamical systems, geometry, mathematical physics and applied mathematics. All are welcome!
We will start again on Friday 04 August 2023 and aim to continue at the same time every Friday until early November (with a gap for the mid-semester break).
The suggested book for this semester is J.H. Silverman, The Arithmetic of Elliptic Curves, Graduate Texts in Mathematics no. 106, second edition, corrected 2nd printing 2016, Springer. (Available to download through university library.)
