This week’s SUMS talk is by Sean Gardiner. As always, pizza and drinks are available after the 30-40 minute talk. Please note the change of venue from last semester. Abstract: This talk will analyse the game of Tic-Tac-Toe and its many variants, with the aim of ascertaining which variations guarantee a win or a draw for the first player (if they’ve been solved at all). Games with different board shapes, in higher dimensions, and with different win conditions will be considered.
