SUMS: Guo -- Hats, Buckets and Pascal’s Triangle

We will explore a range of fun yet totally unrelated puzzles involving people in hats,
things in buckets, and mysterious properties of the Pascal’s triangle.  Along the way,
we will meet and greet various interesting facets of mathematics such as modulo
arithmetic, base representations, and possibly, the axiom of choice.
