A major in mathematical statistics
consists of 24 credit points (four units) of senior statistics units.
The following program is highly recommended for those students aiming at
a major in mathematical statistics. Optional extra units are available in
second and third year from the
applied mathematics program
and the pure mathematics program, and
students are encouraged to consider taking
some of these units in addition to the core program.
The arrows in the diagrams below indicate approximately the assumed knowledge for each unit.
